I blinked twice. Then smiled. But inside? I was screaming in 3 languages.
It made me wonder…
How many of us are stuck in routines, convincing ourselves that “one day” we’ll explore, live fully, and see the world?
Let’s be honest, we say things like, “I’ll travel when I have more time,” or “I need to wait till I have everything figured out.”
But here’s the kicker, even Google Maps doesn’t always have it all figured out. Yet, it still takes you places.
I remember the first time I booked a trip outside my comfort zone. It wasn’t luxury. In fact, I overpacked like I was moving to Mars, missed my connecting flight, and yes, I forgot my charger (a tragedy).
But the freedom I felt walking into a place where no one knew my name? 10/10. Highly recommend.
The thing is, travel isn’t always about boarding flights or snapping cute airport selfies.
Sometimes, it’s about escaping the noise, breathing different air, and proving to yourself that life exists beyond your screen and office walls.
I’ve met people who found healing on solo trips.
Others found love while asking for directions.
Some found clarity in chaos, watching sunsets in unfamiliar skies.
So the question isn’t can you travel, it’s:
Are you still waiting for the perfect time that doesn’t exist?
Life is outside your to-do list.
The world is outside your zip code.
And growth? That thing you’ve been craving? It’s on the other side of your comfort.
Don’t just exist. Explore.
You’re not a tree. You can move.
What’s one place you’ve always wanted to visit but never did?
Also, serious question: what method do you use to close your travel bucket list? Or are you still adding to it every Sunday like I do?
