1. Booking and Payment

1.1 Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of $400.00 is required to secure your spot on any LaKat’s Global trip. The deposit must be paid at the time of booking.

1.2 Final Payment: The remaining balance is due 90 days prior to the departure date. Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in the cancellation of your booking without refund.

1.3 Payment Methods: We accept payments via PayPal.

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

– Monthly minimum payment of $400 is required on the first of every month until paid in full to keep your reservations current.

– Final payment must be made 90 days before the trip date.

– A 50% refund can be requested prior to 6 months before the trip start date found in your invoice.

– No refunds for cancellations within 6 months of the trip date found in your invoice.

– A $250 penalty will be charged for any outstanding balance after the final payment date found in your invoice.

2.2 Cancellation by LaKat’s Global:

If LaKat’s Global cancels a trip due to insufficient enrollment or other reasons, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another trip.

LaKat’s Global is not responsible for any additional costs incurred, such as non-refundable airline tickets.

2.3 Force Majeure: In the event of a force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, acts of government), LaKat’s Global reserves the right to cancel the trip. In such cases, refunds will be issued at the discretion of LaKat’s Global, considering any non-recoverable costs.

3. Travel Insurance:

Your trip is a BIG investment. If you cannot afford to lose the money you have invested to travel, for whatever reason, LaKat’s Global strongly recommends you consider travel insurance. We encourage you to do your due diligence by researching and finding the best plan for YOU.

Suggested Travel Insurance companies are below. Ensure you inquire about a “Cancel for Any Reason” plan.

4. Health and Safety

4.1 Health Requirements: Participants must be in good health and capable of participating in the trip’s activities. Any health conditions that may affect your ability to participate must be disclosed at the time of booking.

4.2 Vaccinations: Participants are responsible for ensuring they meet all health and vaccination requirements for the destination. LaKat’s Global is not liable for any travel restrictions or entry denials due to inadequate health documentation.

5. Responsibility and Liability

5.1 Liability Disclaimer: LaKat’s Global is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to personal property during the trip. Participants agree to assume all risks associated with the trip.

5.2 Third-Party Services: LaKat’s Global is not liable for the actions or negligence of third-party service providers, including airlines, hotels, and local guides.

6. Itinerary Changes

6.1 Flexibility Clause: LaKat’s Global reserves the right to alter the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather conditions or safety concerns. Any changes will be communicated to participants as soon as possible.

6.2 Substitutions: If a scheduled activity or accommodation becomes unavailable, a substitute of similar quality will be provided.

7. Group Size and Participant Requirements

7.1 Minimum Group Size: A minimum of 6-8 participants is required for the trip to proceed. If the minimum is not met, LaKat’s Global will offer a full refund or an alternative trip.

7.2 Participant Requirements: Participants must be 18 years or older. LaKat’s Global trips are exclusively for women.

8. Behavior and Conduct

8.1 Code of Conduct: Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards others, local customs, and the environment. Any form of disruptive behavior may result in dismissal from the trip without refund.

9. Photo and Media Release

9.1 Consent: By participating in a LaKat’s Global trip, you consent to the use of photos or videos taken during the trip for promotional purposes. Participants may opt-out by notifying LaKat’s Global in writing prior to the trip.

10. Data Privacy

10.1 Personal Information: LaKat’s Global collects personal information for the purpose of trip organization and communication. This information will not be shared with third parties, except as necessary to facilitate the trip.

11. Dispute Resolution

11.1 Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of State of California, United States.

11.2 Arbitration: Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions will be resolved through binding arbitration in Sacramento, California.

12. Amendments

12.1 Right to Amend: LaKat’s Global reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of any changes that may affect their booking.

13. Acceptance of Terms

13.1 Agreement: By booking a trip with LaKat’s Global, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
